Empty Closets

Well, it's looking a little bare in our closet right now.  Must be just about time to be on our way.  Three more sleeps until we fly out.  First to Orem to spend time with Chris's family-Ron and Darlene Olthuis, then to the MTC for a week for training.  We report Jan 4 at 10:00AM.  I am feeling nervous and a bit overwhelmed but so excited to serve the people in Italy. We have a great family to rent our home until we return--the Boyds.  Callingwood Park ward-I know you'll look after them!
Our kids gave us the best present for Christmas.  Envelopes from them and the grandchildren to open when we go through certain moments while on our mission--such as "Open when you arrive in Rome and are over the jet lag" "Open when you need to laugh" etc.  Best. Gift. Ever.
